I’ve said it before, but maternity sessions are very special to me. As a parent myself, getting the opportunity to capture the start of your family – the anticipation, the nervousness, the joy – is such a blessing. Meet the Parkers, who are beyond excited to meet their newest additions (before they know it, that day will be here!). And yes that is an “s” on addition, they are expecting twins!! The more the merrier right? One last note about this couple is that I also shot their wedding a few years back. The fact that I have the opportunity to share more special life moments with them is wonderful to me – I feel so lucky when I get to follow my clients and see them grow over the years!
We spent time at Fort Washington State Park together to celebrate their babies on the way. They were such naturals in front of the camera, and it’s so easy to see how much they love each other and their little ones!
Ft. Washington turned out to be a beautiful location for these portraits – full of a great combination of outdoor and structural details we could use. And can we talk about that car?! I LOVE when my clients bring details or “props” that mean something to them to the session.
Maternity sessions are best done within 27-32 weeks of your pregnancy, so if you’re expecting a fall baby, now would be a great time to think about a maternity session! This season of life goes by quickly, so I encourage you to freeze time and have something to remember these moments by. Trust me – your little one will come and grow so fast! (It’s happened to me three times now!!). Summer sessions fill up fast, so be sure to email me here if you want to chat about a session.
