Meet Tanisha and James! I’m throwing back this week’s blog to their fun, urban maternity session in DC at the Georgetown canal and waterfront. These beautiful new parents came to me from a previous client of mine – something I absolutely love – when my clients refer me to their friends! I love being a part of such special moments in people’s lives and becoming their friend too!  Anyway, Tanisha, James and I spent time together exploring the waterfront of DC to capture their maternity portraits. I love the feel that we got during their session – casual yet clearly in love with their sweet baby!! Being a  parent is one of the greatest joys in the world and this season of life can be crazy, but it’s always worth it. Maternity sessions are a great chance to celebrate your newest addition and a wonderful way to look back at the last few months of just the two of you, before your family grew and changed forever.
