Today’s blog is featuring Monique and Brandon’s gorgeous Chicago wedding! I’m so excited to finally be sharing this one with you! This wedding was extra special because I was able to travel to the suburbs of Chicago to capture a classmate’s wedding from Indiana University. Monique and Brandon had an incredible early afternoon wedding at the Kenilworth Union Church with a brunch at George Trois! Their day was full of very special details and touching moments all planned perfectly by JPB Designs, but I still can’t get over how good their amazing brunch was!! After things settled down, Monique and Brandon snuck away from the bustle to go and capture some stunning wedding portraits on the grounds of a Baha’i house of Worship! Honestly, I think that might have been my favorite part. On a wedding day, portraits can sometimes be overlooked in the timeline and the craziness of the day, but I can’t stress how important it is to take the time to capture those moments – just the two of you, right after you’re married. Those are the portraits that will hang in your home, that you’ll show your children one day. Make sure you build in time for these special memories.
